What It Is
Every horn has a story — where it’s been, who’s played it, and why it matters. Some horns are for sale, others are simply shared or preserved as part of a player’s journey. SellMyHorn gives you a clean, private page to show your horn to the world, without the noise of a marketplace.
This is micro-hosting — a boutique, concierge-style service. We build and present your page so your horn looks its best.
You create your address in two parts:
1) Choose your domain — for example, SellMyHorn.com, Horn4Sale.com, or GotBrass.com.
2) Choose your folder name — the word after the slash that fits your style or personality.
Together, that becomes your custom link (examples): Horn4Sale.com/Sam or GotBrass.com/TheOlds. If the folder name you want isn’t already taken, it’s yours exclusively for the duration of your active hosting term.
- Up to 10 photos of your horn
- Your contact info and any notes you want buyers to see
Listing rule: one page = one horn. Every instrument gets its own page and its own story.
Folder name tips: You can use letters, numbers, and dashes (for example, /my-olds-cornet or /Conn-Constellation). URLs are case-sensitive — /MyHorn and /myhorn are not the same. If you use capitals for style, links you share will still work, but they may fail if someone types them differently. To be safe, stick with lowercase, and always keep names short, descriptive, and tasteful — no vulgar or offensive terms.
What It’s Not
SellMyHorn is not a marketplace, auction site, broker, or consignment shop. We don’t handle payments or take commissions. You simply rent a small, dedicated corner of the web to present your horn on your terms.
Each page is powered by GulfHost — your own space, not tied to social media or a sales platform.
Facebook Preview
This is what your page can look like when someone shares it on Facebook. Below each preview is the full link to the actual live page. Having your own link makes it easier for you to share on social media.
